Part I of a Nine Part Series
Stranded in an escape pod at the edge of the universe, a solitary space traveler contemplates
the woman he left behind in the final minutes of his life. Transfixed by his memory of a perfect summer day, he laments
the love he left behind.
The piano, strings and clarinet tones create an outer
space vacuum for this futuristic film that looks at the memories of
the last living human floating in his space capsule high above the earth.
I also tried to create the sound of outerspace by slowing down
a millisecond of one of the vocal tracks to make it last 40 seconds and using
that low churning sound as the swirling sound of the cosmos.
An historic recording of JFK addressing the start of the NASA space
program opens this chilling movie about a future gone awry.
